and her daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt have this mother-daughter date night down pat as they took in Måneskin’s gig in Italy over the weekend.
The pair, who are in town as Angelina takes on a directing role on upcoming film Without Blood in Rome, were seen among the excited crowd, both dressed in black as they watched Damiano David and co. work the stage.
It marked the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest winner’s massive gig at the city’s Circus Maximus (yes, that ancient site hosts rock concerts), ahead of their first world tour with the rockers expected to grace the stage at the O2 in next year.
The band recently confirmed they would be on the Loud Kids tour, stating: ‘We all need to stand together for peace, now and always.’
Photos taken of Angelina and Shiloh – her daughter she shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt – at the gig showed them getting into the spirit as they blended in with the crowd perfectly.
At one stage Shiloh appeared to sing along to the hits while Ange had a broad grin plastered across her face.
The Oscar-winning actress, who is set to write, direct and produce Without Blood, has been spotted in the Italian capital alongside her fellow cast and crew, including Salma Hayek, with the film based on the international-bestselling novel of the same name by Alessandro Baricco.
Shiloh, whose by an LA dance studio, often pops up with Angelina on the red carpet and recently accompanied her mum to an Eternals gala in London.
The 47-year-old was joined by five of her six children at the gala in October last year, with Shiloh rocking a black-and-white Dior dress that her mum donned two years before.
Ange also shares children Maddox, 20; son Pax, 18; daughter Zahara, 17; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 13 with Brad, who she split with in 2016 after two years of marriage and nine years together.
The teenager put her own spin on the printed gown, shortening the length, adding detailing to the top and gathering the straps.
It’s not just stunning outfits that Angelina is mindful of passing on to her daughters, as she also opened up about the impact that she hopes Eternals will have on them.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk at the star-studded ceremony, the actress – who plays Thena in Chloe Zhao’s blockbuster – explained that she wants them to know that they can be ‘feminine and imperfect’.
‘What I was happy to show my daughters is that being a strong woman also means being feminine and vulnerable and open and imperfect,’ she told us.
‘That’s what like most about [Thena], is that she struggles to be strong, and that kind of makes her stronger.’
Meanwhile, Måneskin have embarked on their first-ever global tour which has seen the band upgrade a host of venues from their original 2022 touring plans, which were postponed due to Covid.
From October to December they’ll tour the US before heading back to Europe in the new year before bringing the show to London’s O2 Arena (a rather large upgrade from Brixton’s Academy) in May.
