superstar Seth Rollins has begged Riddle to show some originality now that Randy Orton is out of the picture.
The Visionary – who will face the Original Bro in a grudge match at on July 30 – insisted while his rival soared in popularity through his RK-Bro team with the Viper, means he has to prove he can stand alone.
He exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘That’s the thing – I wanna know who this guy is. I wanna know who is beyond being just Randy’s bro, you know?
‘Obviously the audience took a big liking to him based on his relationship with Randy, but now we don’t know if Randy’s ever coming back. We got no clue what Randy’s medical situation is.’
The former world champion urged Riddle to show more individuality rather than continuing to .
He added: ‘He’s out here having to stand by himself, but he’s still out here doing Randy’s moves, doing Randy’s poses. I’d like to know, who is Riddle? Who is this Original Bro?
‘I’d love to see something original about him. I’m gonna push that out of him one way or another. If he doesn’t wanna respond, that he’s gonna fall by the wayside or he’s gonna rise to the occasion – we shall see.’
Heading into the high profile singles match, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins is feeling positive, and he’s excited to get to work with Riddle at a major event when WWE rolls into Nashville later this month.
‘I’m feeling pretty good, to be honest with you. Body feels good. I’d love to take on Riddle in the ring – we’ve never had a big time pay-per-view singles match. I think both of us are riding a lot of momentum right now,’ he said.
‘Obviously he’s coming off a big title match against Roman Reigns not too long ago, I’m coming off this story with Cody Rhodes where everyone finally realised that I’m the best to ever do it.
‘I think we’re both riding big waves. I think we can really impress people! I’m excited to see if he can rise to my level.’
Once the upcoming premium live event is out of the way, all attention will turn to event in Cardiff, Wales on September 3, which marks the company’s first UK stadium show since SummerSlam 1992.
It’s unclear where Rollins will fit into the card by then, with his direction after the Riddle match unclear – but regardless, he’s excited to be part of such an historic event.
‘I wanna main event, be world champion. It doesn’t seem like that’s gonna be in the cards, but I’ve found ways to make it happen before, so I can do that again in different manners. We’ll see what happens,’ he teased.
‘At the end of the day, it’s gonna be very exciting to be out there performing in front of a sold out stadium… There’s always been hope for it, and definitely a desire from the European fans to get over there and do something on that continent.
‘I know as performers, we’re all very excited to be able to come over and feel that energy because the European tours are just a small taste of what it’s gonna be like inside that stadium. Pretty awesome!’
