A grand jury investigating ex-President ’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia has subpoenaed seven of his allies including his former lawyer Rudy Giuliani.

A subpoena request on Tuesday for Giuliani detailed his claims before the state Senate in December 2020 of having evidence of fraud in ‘multiple’ counties.

‘Among the evidence offered by the Witness was a video recording of election workers at State Farm Arena in Atlanta that purported to show election workers producing “suitcases” of unlawful ballots from unknown sources, outside the view of election poll watchers,’ state court documents.

‘Within 24 hours of the December 3, 2020, legislative hearing, the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office debunked the State Farm video and explained that its investigation revealed no voter fraud of any kind had taken place at State Farm Arena.’

A lawyer for Giuliani on Tuesday told that the subpoena had not been served.

Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina was also requested to testify in Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s criminal probe. Graham called Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and his staff at least twice, requesting a re-examination of absentee ballots ‘to explore the possibility of a more favorable outcome for former President Donald Trump’, court documents state.

John Eastman, who came up with a plan to assemble alternate slates of electors to reverse the election, has also been subpoenaed.

The list includes Jenna Ellis, Kenneth Chesebro and Cleta Mitchell, who also advised the Trump campaign on strategies to overturn Biden’s victories in Georgia as well as other swing states.

Attorney and podcast host Jacki Pick Deason is also being called to testify.

All seven individuals are ‘a necessary and material witness’ to the probe, according to the filings.

Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney is overseeing the 23-person special grand jury that has heard testimony from multiple witnesses over the past few weeks.

The subpoenas issued Tuesday are for the closest people to Trump’s inner circle and his former campaign that jurors have faced.
