Authorities have identified the victims of a , as well as the gunman and a ‘good Samaritan’ who shot and Ki**ed him.

The Greenwood Park Mall shooter was identified as 20-year-old Jonathan Sapirman on Monday. He shot and Ki**ed a married couple, Pedro Pineda, 56, and Rosa Mirian Rivera de Pineda, 37, as well as Victor Gomez, 30, on Sunday, before being gunned down by a good Samaritan.

Sapirman, of Greenwood, entered the mall at 4.54pm and proceeded to enter a food court bathroom. He stayed in the bathroom for about an hour before leaving and shooting into the crowd. Police believe he spent the time in the bathroom assembling the Sig Sauer AR-15-style rifle he used in the attack.

He fired 24 rounds in two minutes before he was stopped by an armed shopper. Sapirman Ki**ed three people and injured at least two others.

The married couple were sitting and eating at the food court when Sapirman opened fire. Gomez was standing outside the food court bathroom. Two more bystanders were wounded by shrapnel from the gunshots, including a 12-year-old girl.

The good Samaritan who shot and Ki**ed Sapirman has been identified as 22-year-old Elisjsha Dicken.

Police praised Dicken’s actions.

‘Many more people would have died last night if not for a responsible armed citizen,’ said Greenwood police Chief James Ison.

Police recovered two rifles and more than 100 rounds of ammunition at the scene. Sapirman also had a Glock handgun on him when he was shot.

Authorities were still trying to determine Sapirman’s motive on Monday. He had no criminal record as an adult and only a few minor juvenile offences, including getting into a school fight and running away from home. He was recently served an eviction notice and resigned from a warehouse job in May.

After searching Sapirman’s apartment, police found his laptop in an oven left on a high temperature with a can of butane. His cell phone was recovered from a mall toilet.
