Nurse who ‘Ki**ed pregnant mum, her young son and four others’ in crash charged with six counts of murder

An intensive care unit nurse has been charged with six counts of murder after a , her unborn baby, her one-year-old son and four others.

Nicole Lorraine Linton, 37, could face up to 90 years in prison if convicted in the 100mph crash on Thursday.

Linton was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on Friday on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter. She was discharged from a hospital on Sunday and is being held on a $9million bond at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California. Her bail was set at $2million before Sunday late afternoon.

There is no evidence that Linton was driving under the influence of alcohol, as was initially reported, according to Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón.

Asherey Ryan, 23, who was eight-and-a-half months pregnant, her 11-month-old son Alonzo Luchiano Quintero and her unborn child’s father Reynold Lester, 24, were Ki**ed in the fiery crash after the car split in half, family members said. The three were reportedly on their way to Ryan’s doctor appointment for a pregnancy check-up.

The county medical examiner-coroner confirmed Ryan’s death as well as that of unborn ‘Baby Boy Ryan’.

Ryan’s sister, Sha’seana Kerr, expressed sympathy for Linton and hoped for healing.

‘I just want to tell her that we forgive her,” Kerr told . ‘She will have to live with this for the rest of her life. That’s why she was spared. We understand it already.’

Ryan and her family’s loved ones prayed and remembered them on Saturday and Sunday.

Two other women were Ki**ed in the incident by South La Brea Avenue and Slauson Avenue in Windsor Hills. Their identifies had not been released as of Monday afternoon.

Eight others were injured in the crash – six minors and two adults. One of the teens sustained serious injuries.

‘It was definitely one of the most horrific crashes that we’ve seen,’ highwy patrol Officer Franco Pepi said on Friday.
