Three dead after house explodes destroying nearly 40 homes

Three people have been Ki**ed and at least 39 homes damaged after an explosion at a house in Evansville, Indiana.

‘There could be other victims, we have not completed our search,’ said Fire Department Chief Mike Connelly on Wednesday.

‘The buildings are not yet safe to enter.’

Connolly did not immediately speak on the cause of the explosion, which happened shortly before 1pm.

The explosion appeared to totally destroy the residence where it originated from, according to a photo shared on social media by Mayor Lloyd Winnecke.

‘At this time, there are 3 deaths reported to us that are a result of the explosion on N Weinbach Ave,’ stated the Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office on Wednesday afternoon.

Streets near the site, a residential area, were closed off.

The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is involved in the ongoing investigation.

Jasmine Vickers, a child care center worker, was roughly four blocks away when the explosion sounded during nap time.
