Guardiola Makes UCL History After Man City Clinch Semi-Final Ticket

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City held Atletico Madrid to a goalless draw and advance to the semi-finals of this season’s UEFA Champions League.

City edged Atletico 1-0 on aggregate to make it back-to-back semi-finals appearance.

Following City’s qualification, Guardiola has reached his ninth Champions League semi-final.

It is the most of any manager in the history of the competition (four with Barcelona, three with Bayern Munich, two with City).

The Premier League champions will take on Real Madrid in the semis as they eye another final appearance.

Up next for City is the semi-final clash with Liverpool in the Emirates FA Cup.

They are still in the running for the treble in the current campaign.
